Our technical site surveys for the University of Cambridge informed the business case for technical insulation. Anthesis manufactured bespoke insulation which will save over 14,000 tCO2e of lifetime carbon. The expected payback is 1.5 years with a ROI of £195,000 over 12 years.
Metering, Monitoring and Targeting
We were commissioned by the University of Reading to perform metering, monitoring and targeting to identify and rectify excessive energy use. We identified several areas for technical improvement and introduced a behaviour change programme. Resulting in up to 40% less energy being used.
Carbon Management Plan
A comprehensive carbon management plan for the Courtauld Institute of Art to meet reduction targets over a five year period. Also identifying energy efficiency measures and supporting related funding applications, achieving annual savings of £50,000 and 230 tCO2e.
Lighting Design and Installation
The design and installation of a new LED lighting scheme for Bath Spa University. Delivering the desired level of luminance whilst minimising energy usage. Including the optimisation of lighting controls and recommendations to ensure emergency lighting compliance.
Heat Network Regulations
Working with the University of Bristol to submit the necessary data for the Heat Network (Metering and Billing) Regulations 2014.
Energy Performance of Buildings Directive
We produced Display Energy Certificates and Advisory Reports for 20 buildings occupied by Royal Holloway, University of London. Undertaking surveys and interviews, processing the data and lodgement on the official Government register.
Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)
Working with Unite Students to identify energy saving measures to ensure compliance with ESOS. Identifing approximately £150 million in lifetime savings and producing a user-friendly stock model.
Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES)
Again working with Unite Students we produced an energy simulation tool to help achieve compliance with MEES. We created a tool which allowed Unite to simulate the effects of a range of Energy Conservation Measures across their vast portfolio of properties.
